THE SITTING ROOM

This warm and inviting sitting room in a historic 1910 craftsman home combines historic details with modern furnishings.  The key word when designing this room was warmth but without putting color on the walls. A creamy warm white paint refreshes the room and creates a blank canvas for rich colors and textures. Lush velvets, rich leather, warm wood tones and woven accents create layers of texture. Family heirlooms and curated vintage pieces are combined with new furniture in historic colors blending historic charm with modern comfort.
